Once upon a time we ran a challenge that celebrated the festivals of light that all the winter holidays really are. Especially for us living up nearer the polar circle where the days are short and the nights long and dark.

Christmas is the time of year when we go crazy in decorating. We love giving our home a special look to celebrate this holiday: Garlands, wreaths, trees alight with candles, gift boxes.

Christmas is creeping closer with seven mile boats. We can all use some inspiration on how to spice up the decorations this year. A few years back we interviewed Maron and she gave us a stack of beautiful christmas pictures for the issue.

The way she edits pictures, the atmosphere, the style, the picture taking angles even the way every piece of furniture and clutter is brilliantly placed – all that made me her biggest fan. Who is she? Her name is Maron.

This is one of my favourite builds especially because it was inspired by one of the most crazy pictures I have handed out in “Inspired by Nature”.
